Special : Preview of New Season Starting April 1 at Yoga Now

Just yesterday, the Angel picked up a copy of the new season of yoga classes at Yoga Now Chicago Gold Coast. You can see it in the virtual world at www.yoganowchicago.com .

In case you need some guidance on the classes and the teachers, here you go. First, so you know, the Angel was spotted on LaSalle Street on Sunday right after picking up the new schedule. "Yo, Angel, helloooo." The Angel just smiled in a pose of peace and moved along gracefully. The Angel does not wear a cape. No one wears capes these days---as one learns from "The Incredibles." Something else you should know--the Angel of Yoga is a yogaholic and takes more classes than you do. In light of this input, the fact that the Angel recommends certain classes relies on Scientific Analysis and Relative Value. It also recognizes the fact that the Angel is heavily biased.

Back to yoga, On Wednesday, April 1, the Angel kicks off the New Season at Yoga Now, 742 N. LaSalle Street, Chicago, 312 280-9642, with R^2=Really Restful Yoga. This restorative yoga class will smooth out the kinks and help you to make it over that midweek hump. It's like the weekend will arrive early for that evening, and then we go back to Thursday all refreshed and smiling. It's a tribute to Karen Faith's Restorative Practice and Workshops and the Angel tips her hood and halo to the Guruji Faith at http://www.yogaforthemoment.com/ .

On the weekend, in the late afternoon before Karen's Restorative practice on Sunday evening, the Angel kicks in with Radiant Yoga--a fusion of all of the old favorites and introducing some of the newer stuff--with a good core workout as well as lots of vinyasas. Then, you can collapse into Karen's class.

Two other very exciting classes on deck for the new season are Callie Munson's Weekend Wakeup on Saturday mornings--this class will be excellent since Callie is a strong teacher and a great person---and Nam Tran's Vinyasa Yoga Level 2-3 on Thursday nights---Nam is a lot of fun and a powerful teacher. His class completes a strong Thursday lineup with Gwen M as lead for Forrest at 4 pm. Thursday night looks like a 'must do yoga' night. If you think you've got it, make sure you try all of these classes--just to show yourself how much more there is to actually get.

You can ask all of us about our classes and we'll be happy to provide more input. We're looking forward to seeing you soon.
